Family: Parents can apply for kindergarten places until the beginning of May

Until Tuesday, 2 May, parents can still register their children in the municipal kindergartens of El Nido, Calancha, El Mar, Los Pitufos and Cancelada for 2023/24. A total of 377 places are available, including 43 for children under one year old, 129 for one year olds and 205 for two year olds. The municipal kindergartens are open from 7.30 am to 5 pm.

Applications are open to parents of children aged between 16 weeks and 3 years (birth years 2021 to 2023).

Parents can submit their applications – which can be downloaded and filled out at juntadeandalucia.es/educacion/secretariavirtual, among other places – in person at the Municipal Delegation for Education in the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre, from 8 am to 2.30 pm.

The application forms can also be picked up at the municipal education office and the mayor’s office in Cancelada, and they are also available at juntadeandalucia.es/educacion/portals/web/escolarizacion/0-a-3-anos.
